Traveling the world ... NY

Traveling the world. One state at a time. Starting with... New York.
        Lets begin, New York known as the "The Big Apple" or "The Empire State". Founded July 6th 1788 by Peter Minuit who purchased Manhattan Island from the Indians. New York is made up of five boroughs Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island. According to 2010, Brooklyn is the most populated with 2,504,700, then it would be Queens with 2,230,722, Manhattan with 1,585,873, Bronx 1,385,108, and lastly Staten Island with a total of 468,730.  With the total population to be at least 8.4 million people in the entire state. New York City is the largest populated city in the United states.
Brooklyn. 
New York, Brooklyn is the most popular out of the 5 boroughs. Its most popular tourist attraction known as the Brooklyn Bridge. Which is very popular for its interesting for it being nearly 131 years old on May 24th. The Brooklyn Bridge crosses over the East River and is 85 feet wide, 276.5 feet high, and has a total length of 5,989 feet long. It took a total of 14 years and nearly 600 men to have the bridge completed, costing at at least 15 million dollars. Every single day the bridge carries approximately 150,000 vehicles a day. The Brooklyn bridge is not the only tourist attraction Brooklyn has to offer though. There is anything from food to art or anything you could really imagine.
Queens.
Home of the New York Mets at Citi life stadium. One of the most popular tourist attractions out there. Also there is the Queens Botanical garden a beautiful sight for all.  Queens has the two most popular airports used worldwide for New York being a major tourist attraction.  Queens had LaGuardia and JFK International Airport. Also an interesting attraction popular in Queens is Louis Armstrong's house. There is so much to be able to do in Queens depending on your interests because there is definitely something for everyone all around.
Manhattan.
Wow. There is just so much to be said about Manhattan from to Time Square to Central Park. Both very popular attractions everyone can enjoy. Some of the more popular attractions in Manhattan are, The American Museum of Natural History, Central Park, The Empire State Building Exc.
